.22 WEDNESDAY MORNING SHOOT

The match target has 5 diamonds.

We start with a few sighter shots. We then rotate through each of the following positions: offhand (standing), kneeling, sitting, prone, off the bench. From each of the 5 positions we take 5 shots, equaling 25 shots total. Eye & ear protection is required at all times by both participants & observers.

 

WHAT TO BRING

 

  • Eye protection

  • Ear protection

  • Shooting mat

  • Scope, so you can see where you’re hitting at 50 yards

  • .22 Rifle

  • 30 rounds

  • One 5-diamond target

P2 (muzzleloader range), every Wednesday. See the calendar below for dates and click for additional details. If none are listed, no events are currently scheduled. Typically the Wednesday morning shoots are on the following schedule:

Registration: 8:00 a.m.
Shooting starts: 8:30 a.m.
Duration: About 30 minutes

 

SCORING

Up to 25 points per position, depending on placement within target rings – we’ll help you figure it out.

Maximum possible = 125 points (generally half of 125 will win the match)
