Hi!  I’m glad you’re visiting this page.

I have lived in southern Lancaster County all of my life.  Shortly after starting high school at Solanco, around 1965, a man offered a NRA sponsored .22 target course.  We shot in an old one-room school house where he had installed a sand trap.  I do not remember his name, but I will be forever grateful to him for teaching me how to shoot, handle, and take care of firearms.  I like to keep in practice for when I go out hunting.

Hope you join us on a Wednesday morning!

Description

The match target has 5 diamonds.

We start with a few sighter shots.  We then rotate through each of the following positions: offhand (standing), kneeling, sitting, prone, off the bench.  From each of the 5 positions we take 5 shots, equaling 25 shots total.

Scoring

Up to 25 points per position, depending on placement within target rings – we’ll help you figure it out.

Maximum possible = 125 points (generally half of 125 will win the match)
